The Trunk Show is finally here!

Our gorgeous Monique Lhuillier Signature and BLISS gowns have arrived for the weekend and they are absolutely stunning! A sneak peek at some of the amazing dresses that are visiting for this weekend only!

Oh, this sweet bride absolutely brings a smile to our faces! We loved working with darling Keeley and loved seeing her Watters gown look so very perfect on her wedding day! Keeley was a gracious, sweet, low-key bride and she and her mother made our job so very easy ;)  Seriously, the photo below of Keeley and her darling Will during their recessional….how gorgeous was she?!?!

We also love seeing some of our favorite Nashville venues come to life in a new and unique way. Keeley’s wedding was a picture-perfect summer day and as Southern and elegant as it gets; what’s not to love?

It would be  the greatest understatement of the year to say we are just a little excited about the Monique Lhuillier Trunk Show coming this weekend, May 17 + 18! We will have Monique‘s Fall 2013 Signature and Bliss collections — upwards of forty dresses we don’t typically have. That is a lot of Monique Lhuillier; that is a lot of beautiful gowns!

Our gorgeous new gown Kayla arrived last week and we are already head over heels, madly in love. Top to bottom, this is nothing short of a perfect wedding dress. We can’t wait for you to meet her – and so many like her – at the Trunk Show!

 

We are thrilled that the Trunk Show has been booking for weeks [months!] now…but if you would like to come see these gowns, you will definitely need an appointment sooner rather than later! This Saturday, May 18 is already completely booked, and only a few spots remain for Friday, May 17. Let us know what time works best for you! The adorable girls at LulaKate have launched a Ready to Wear collection . . .which can only be good things for all of us! The dresses, not surprisingly, are basically the cutest ever and we really believe you {we?} need to get your {our?} hands on them!

So June 7 + 8, we will have LulaKate Ready to Wear and Little White Dresses here for you to shop….great little dresses for rehearsals, showers, engagement photos, or …let’s be honest…just because they’re to-die.  This little Aztec print below? We’ll take two!

It’s Spring Cleaning time!

The team at Amsale has updated their current style selection, and the follow dresses have been discontinued….so they are looking for a good home!

These are cute, wearable styles and we’d be more than happy to connect you with a great little dress for a summer wedding, rehearsal, Steeplechase, or shower. . .All dresses are in great shape and sold as is [ color, size ] and yes, they’re alterable!

Last weekend, we took to the runways and showrooms of our beloved designers for Spring Bridal Market. We were thrilled how many of you followed along and liked, commented, retweeted, and gushed with us about the gorgeous new collections!

Major trends of interest:

Ball gowns are back. . .and they are beautiful! The fuller shape dominated the runways, interpreted in a multitude of fabrics, layers and designs.

Asymmetry is an option. One-shoulder necklines and off-center draping were just about everywhere, in both soft and structured gowns.

Non-strapless still dominates. . .We overdosed at Fall Market on illusion necklines and tulle straps, and this season, it seemed the strapless gowns were the minority. We love the feminine and modest cuts that non-strapless can achieve, but do not underestimate the value of leaving something to the imagination. . .covered doesn’t have to mean matronly, and we’re thrilled about the new necklines emerging.

Our Twitter and Instagram accounts are full of images straight from the runway, and we consulted the experts at Martha Stewart Weddings to grab these great shots of Amsale and Monique Lhuillier gowns.

 

We are also so very excited to drop a hint that we have some HUGE pinch-us-is-it-real news coming your way! Our collection of designers is growing and we can not be more excited about who’s joining the family! Stay tuned for a very special announcement later this week!
