We also envision chic and fashion-forward mothers of the occasion rocking some of these current { yet modest! } looks. We are absolutely loving the variety and fresh spin on these dresses!

You’ve got the guy, the ring, your dress, the venue and your most favorite photographer ever…and now…you have to find bridesmaids’ dresses to fit and flatter eight – ten- twelve? – of your nearest and dearest!  Oh, where to begin?!

We feel so fortunate to say that we have a beautiful and diverse collection of dresses for your girls…yes, even the toughest to please! The darling girls at Amsale keep things fresh and feminine; Lela Rose + Alfred Sung {of the Dessy Group} are always on-point with trends and style without breaking the bank.

We hear over and over again how overwhelming shopping for your girls can be…and it doesn’t have to be! We say it all the time — you don’t do this every day, but we do!  So…after years and years of coordinating bridal parties…a few thoughts:

• Is it still ok to mix and match styles according to my girls’ body types? Absolutely! Of course – what started as a novel idea a few years ago has very much become the norm in our world: pick a collection, narrow down fabric + color (or a range of colors!), and let your girls decide which style they will feel prettiest in. We have seen so much success with this process and the designers have been taking note … every collection we have is tailored to this method and there are tons of options in every fabric!
• Like the look of mix-and-match girls, but it’s not for you? No worries! We can help lead your toward some of the most  amazing styles that seem to look great on all shapes and sizes! Though maids can not be as custom as bridal sizes, these designers are constantly revising designs and silhouettes to meet the needs of ever-chic maids’ parties….and it shows. There are so, so many strong styles to choose from!
• Help! I have bridesmaids all over the country! Not a problem! We have an online ordering system + are very responsive via email and phone to help your girls. We are certainly here to help! Ordering from the same place ensures consistency in dye lots of fabric, so we are fully prepared to coordinate your girls to order together.
• How long do bridesmaids’ dresses take to order? You should plan for 3 months from the time of order. We will help you set a deadline for your girls (and often then will need some gentle reminding!) and leave plenty of time for alterations. It isn’t as time sensitive as ordering a bridal gown, but you definitely shouldn’t wait too long!

We absolutely could not have loved this bride and her sweet family any more than we did. We were instantly connected to her amazing, classic, American style and when she fell in love with her Amsale ball gown, she knew it was the one for her Santa Monica wedding last fall.

Jessica radiated on her wedding day …we knew she would be completely stunning, but we were still over the moon to see these amazing images from a perfect fall wedding day. The gown – perfection of course, paired with her amazing hair and makeup, and oh yes, a appearance from Manolo.  You really must check out the full post here – the photography was incredible and there may or may not be a rollerblading photo-bomber involved…definitely something you might not see in Nashville :)

This wintry Friday morning seems like the perfect time to share with you our precious Camille and her December wedding. Camille and her family seamlessly and effortlessly became part of our little family.  It was absolutely an honor to be  a part of her wedding day – her impeccable style and vision for this day resulted in a stunning, classic celebration.  We witnessed Camille’s sweet relationship with her mom, sister and grandmother – which made  wearing the {incredible}  family veil and hosting the reception at home – all the more special. It was perfection.

Our dear friends at Big Events Wedding executed every detail with flawlessly and with precision. Camille was absolutely stunning in her custom, blush-hued Monique Lhuillier gown.  We joked that she must have hired her bridesmaids; they were so gorgeous in black Lela Rose cocktail dresses.

We are just over the moon that this year’s Symphony Fashion Show‘s featured designer is Monique Luillier!  April 9 may seem a long time away, but we are already counting down the weeks til this year’s show and seeing Monique’s 2013 Ready to Wear collection up close.

Each Spring, the Symphony Fashion Show assists the Nashville Symphony in reaching more than 250,000 children and adults through free music education programs and community concerts. Fashion for a cause? We’re in.

This isn’t Monique’s first time showing at the Schermerhorn; she was here in 2009, too — this was quite an amusing and endearing trip down memory lane. This year, we promise the iPhone pictures will be better ;)
